    Slovenia: Not a second Cyprus, but the crisis is deep

Slovenia is suffering from a very serious banking crisis and will probably need an external financial support from the EU and the IMF this year. This financial help could range from 10% to 20% of its GDP. This remains in the average of past support plans in Central Europe. The real economy should also help Slovenia to find an exit to the crisis through exports.
